LG Electronics Inc. on Friday estimated its second-quarter operating earnings at 1.19 trillion won (US$868.1 million), up 61.2 percent from a year earlier. Revenue increased 8.5 percent to 21.7 trillion won. The data for net income was not available. The operating profit was 14.3 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
