LG Uplus Q4 net income down 34 pct to 105.2 bln won

SEOUL, LG Uplus Corp. on Wednesday reported its fourth-quarter net income of 105.2 billion won (US$79.5 million), down 34 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the October-December period fell 31.8 percent on-year to 195.5 billion won. Sales increased 5.8 percent to 3.82 trillion won. The earnings fell behind market expectations.
