Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet Honors Fallen Soldiers with Tributes and Aid

Kuala lumpur: Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony, the spouse of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, today led a delegation to pay respects to two soldiers who died while serving in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. The visits, which included condolences, financial assistance, and pledges to build new homes, were a tribute to the soldiers' sacrifices.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the first ceremony was held in Tram Kak district, Takeo province, for Sergeant Mao Sea of Intervention Brigade 8. On behalf of Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, his spouse Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), and Prime Minister Hun Manet, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony conveyed profound condolences to the family. She presented the family with food supplies and financial aid from the Royal Government to help them through their hardship.

During her visit, the First Lady observed that the soldier's widow was living in severely deteriorated conditions. In recognition of her husband's ultimate sacrifice, she pledged to construct a new house for the family. Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony then travelled to Ang Snuol district, Kandal province to honor Sergeant Rin Veasna, deputy commander of Group 2, Logistics Unit 393 of Intervention Brigade 9. She again delivered messages of sympathy and provided in-kind donations and financial support from the Royal Government.

Noting the family's poor housing, she committed to building them a new home in Kandal province. These actions underscore the Royal Government's commitment to supporting the families of fallen heroes and honoring those who have served the nation.
