Lotte Energy Materials Corp. on Thursday reported its first-quarter net loss of 600 million won (US$440,690), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 4.3 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 6.1 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 47.7 percent to 241.7 billion won.
