Lotte Energy Materials shifts to red in Q4

SEOUL, Lotte Energy Materials Corp. on Monday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 5.8 billion won (US$4.3 million), shifting from a profit of 600 million won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating income for the October-December period fell 91.4 percent on-year to 1.3 billion won. Revenue increased 34.1 percent to 229.5 billion won.
