Phnom penh: The State Secretariat of Border Affairs has released a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the governments of Cambodia and Thailand, concerning the survey and demarcation of their land boundary. The MoU, originally dated June 14, 2000, outlines the framework for addressing and managing the land boundary issues between the two nations.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the 2000 MoU has been officially deposited with the Secretariat of the United Nations. This ensures that the document is accessible to the public through the United Nations Treaty Series. The release of the MoU marks a significant step in maintaining transparency and cooperation between Cambodia and Thailand regarding their shared border.
