Meritz Financial Group Inc. on Thursday reported its fourth-quarter net profit of 372.9 billion won (US$280.6 million), down 4.8 percent from a year earlier. Operating profit for the October-December period was 568.6 billion won, up 0.1 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales fell 8.3 percent to 15.21 trillion won.
