Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, in collaboration with UNESCO, organised an in-country session titled 'Shaping the Future: Toward a National Policy for Cambodia's Cultural and Creative Industries.'
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the workshop was held in Phnom Penh on June 11 under the presidency of H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts. It brought together ambassadors, embassy representatives in Cambodia, government officials from various ministries and institutions, and representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat, NGOs, associations, and development partners.
In her address, H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona stated that the event aimed to exchange valuable experiences, particularly with national and international partners who play a key role in the development of the National Policy for Cambodia's Cultural and Creative Industries.
On this occasion, a certificate conferment ceremony was also held for participants of a three-month training course "ASEAN-UK Hybrid Creative Economy Training Programme," organised by the British Council.
