MISTI Delegation Supports Frontline Troops at Preah Vihear Border

Preah Vihear: A delegation from the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MISTI), led by Minister H.E. Hem Vanndy, visited Cambodian troops stationed along the border in Preah Vihear province recently. The visit was marked by the delivery of essential food, supplies, and a cash donation totaling 50 million riel to support soldiers guarding the frontline.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the generous contribution was made by Minister Hem Vanndy and his spouse, along with the leadership and officials of MISTI and members of the private sector. This initiative follows an earlier donation made about a week ago, which included 1,000 mobile solar lights for the troops.

During the visit, Minister Hem Vanndy expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Cambodian troops for their bravery and sacrifice in defending the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity. "MISTI leadership and officials, as well as the Cambodian people, express our appreciation and gratitude to the bravery and sacrifice of our troops," said Minister Hem Vanndy. "We stand firmly with you in this noble national cause."

He further emphasized that the visit was not only about providing material support but also served as a message of national unity and unwavering solidarity with the troops under the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia. The soldiers and commanders warmly welcomed the support, describing it as both timely and morale-boosting as they continue to carry out their duties under heightened security conditions along the border.
