Cambodia has detected two more cases of Monkeypox, bringing the total cases of Monkeypox in the country to three, the Ministry of Health said in a press release issued on Jan. 3. The two patients have been now hospitalised separately from other patients, the source added, calling for vigilance among the public and health authorities. The ministry also provided them with self-explanatory prevention measures to keep themselves safe from the disease. According to the Ministry of Health, in most Monkeypox cases, the symptoms of the disease will subside by itself, however, for some few cases, the treatment could be complicated, possibly leading to death. Monkeypox is emerging as a threat for global public health, and it is evolving rapidly especially from the tropical areas of Central and West Africa to other parts of the world.
