One of the three suspects extradited from Cambodia earlier this week attended a court hearing on Friday on an arrest warrant sought for him over the murder of a Korean tourist in Pattaya, Thailand. The 27-year-old was extradited Wednesday on charges of killing a Korean traveler in his 30s and abandoning his body in Pattaya in early May in collusion with two other Koreans. He allegedly fled to Cambodia after committing the crime, before he was arrested in Phnom Penh five days later with cooperation from Korean police stationed in the country and the local police. Police said the man remained tight-lipped during the investigation, citing the right to refuse to make a statement. Upon arriving at a court in the southeastern city of Changwon, he did not answer questions from reporters. The court is expected to decide whether to issue the arrest warrant later Friday.
