Phnom penh: H.E. Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, accompanied by First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, commenced a State Visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia that will run for three days at the invitation of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, they were welcomed upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism as Minister-in-Attendance, and other officials. During his stay, H.E. Marcos Jr. will pay a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State, and will hold bilateral talks with Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace.
both sides will discuss ways to further deepen relations and enhance cooperation between the two countries, and will exchange views on regional and international issues. The visit will include the signing of several bilateral cooperation documents.
