Phnom Penh to Host Cambodia Muslim Friendly Tourism Forum and Fair 2025

Phnom penh: The Ministry of Tourism will organise the 'Cambodia Muslim Friendly Tourism Forum and Fair 2025' from Oct. 9 to 11 at Al-Serkal Mosque (Boeung Kak Mosque) in Phnom Penh under the theme 'Assalamu Alaikum Cambodia: A Safe, Warm and Friendly Destination.'

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the forthcoming event is aimed at welcoming visitors to the Kingdom of Cambodia, a safe and friendly destination for tourists of all nationalities and from all directions. The event will showcase the richness of Cambodia's tourism potential that aligns with the Muslim tourism market and Cambodia Muslim-Friendly Standards. It is also intended to enhance preparedness in welcoming Muslim tourists in accordance with national and international Muslim market trends and needs, in an inclusive and innovative manner.

The forum will feature tourism experts, including government officials, Muslim community leaders, business professionals, and private sector representatives. They will discuss and share new ideas, exchange experiences, and provide additional input to the development of the tourism sector in a sustainable, resilient, and comprehensive manner.

The Ministry of Tourism will also set up a Muslim tourism exhibition booth showcasing tourism services and products at the location specified above.
