Phnom Penh: The Cambodian Minister of Planning has received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Cambodia to discuss priority cooperation.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during the meeting with the Vietnamese Ambassador H.E. Nguyen Minh Vu at the ministry on June 10, H.E. Bin Trachhey emphasized the need for enhanced human resources in the areas of planning and statistics, monitoring and evaluation, and technical systems for census and survey.
Both officials acknowledged the growing bilateral trade between Cambodia and Vietnam, with an emphasis on Vietnam being Cambodia's second-largest importer.
H.E. Nguyen Minh Vu mentioned to H.E. Bin Trachhey his plans to further promote Cambodia's investment potentials at an upcoming business forum, which will involve approximately 150 Vietnamese companies.
H.E. Bin Trachhey expressed gratitude to H.E. Nguyen Minh Vu for his commitment to encouraging more Vietnamese investment in Cambodia and anticipated further cooperation with the Vietnamese side on relevant matters.
