KUALA LUMPUR, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his Chinese counterpart, Premier Li Qiang witnessed the exchange of 14 documents during the latter's three-day official visit to Malaysia which concluded today. The exchange of the documents, which cover various areas of interest, also showcases the enhanced cooperation between the two nations over the past five decades. Li's visit coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China, following the signing of the Joint Communiqué between second Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak Hussein and then Chinese Premier Chou En Lai on May 31, 1974.
