Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has expressed his appreciation for the contributions of Cambodia Scouts in guiding young people and building human capital for the country. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Cambodia Scouts’ Extraordinary Congress held this afternoon at the National Institute of Education, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet emphasised that the Cambodia Scouts serve as an important mechanism implemented by the Royal Government to cultivate well-rounded and qualified human resources for national development.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Prime Minister highlighted that the Cambodia Scouts is a platform to nurture strong spirit, morality, ethics, and above all, a high sense of patriotism essential for national progress. He affirmed the Royal Government’s commitment to strengthening the nation through unity and capacity building, underscoring that unity, solidarity, and patriotism are particularly vital during challenging times.
The Premier remarked that the scout movement acts as an additional educational tool that models volunteerism and inspires youth to contribute meaningfully to society and national development. Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet further stressed that the Cambodia Scouts play a key role in promoting sustainable development and strengthening the nation’s independence.
