Police on Monday raided religious facilities run by Huh Kyung-young, honorary chairman of the minor National Revolutionary Party, as he has been sued by his followers for alleged sexual harassment, the Gyeonggi Bukbu Provincial Police Agency said. The agency said it sent police officers to Huh's religious facility, called "Haneulgung" (Sky Palace), in Yangju, 28 kilometers north of Seoul, and a lecture hall in the capital's central district of Jongno, to secure evidence related to the sexual harassment allegations. In February, about 20 people filed a complaint with police alleging Huh touched the bodies of female followers during their visit to Haneulgung. But his lawyers have denied the allegations saying Huh just tried to provide spiritual energy to the women after obtaining their consent.
