Port Klang Authority general manager Captain K Subramaniam said systems at the ports, the main gateway by sea into Malaysia, are not affected by the outage. 'At this time, we have no news of any disruptions (faced by shipliners),' he said when contacted at 5.10pm. News reports from around the globe have predicted that various sectors, including banks, payment companies, airlines, and transport companies, will experience technical difficulties and delays following the glitch. The reports cited issues linked to the global cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike. CrowdStrike Holdings Inc is an American cybersecurity technology company based in Austin, Texas.
