Phnom Penh: Rainfall ranging from light to moderate, accompanied by thunder, lightning, and gusts, is expected across Cambodia throughout this week, according to the latest forecast issued by the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM).
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, from May 13 to 19, approximately 40 percent of the central lowland and coastal regions, and 45 percent of the highland areas, are forecasted to experience rainfall and stormy conditions, MOWRAM pointed out.
Temperatures are expected to range between 24 and 35 degrees Celsius in the central lowlands, and between 25 and 36 degrees Celsius in both the highland and coastal areas, it added.
Cambodia is currently entering its rainy season, which generally lasts through October. Known as the 'green season,' this period brings lush green landscapes across the country.
