Siem reap: The Ministry of Civil Service of the Kingdom of Cambodia is set to host a pivotal regional workshop on Digitalisation in Public Administration for AMS Countries and Timor-Leste, along with the ASEAN Secretariat and local government officials, in Siem Reap province from August 26 to 28.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, this workshop is organized under the ACCSM+3 Work Plan 2021-2025 and is expected to draw approximately 150 participants. The event seeks to foster regional dialogue on innovation, digital transformation, and future-ready governance practices, as highlighted by the Ministry.
The opening ceremony will be presided over by H.E. Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service, who will emphasize the significance of digital innovation in public administration for enhanced service delivery across the region.
The Ministry of Civil Service states that the workshop will feature presentations from AMS and ASEAN+3 participants, and will include expert-led panel discussions aimed at exchanging best practices and developing strategies for digital governance.
As the chair and host of the 23rd ASEAN and 8th ASEAN+3 Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (23rd ACCSM and 8th ACCSM+3) for 2024-2026, Cambodia extends a warm welcome to the delegations and reaffirms its commitment to advancing regional cooperation and fostering open dialogue toward citizen-centric public administration and improved public service delivery.
