LABUAN, Over 3,000 students and 250 lecturers at Labuan Matriculation College (LMC) can finally breathe a sigh of relief with the completion of a state-of-the-art air conditioning system, valued at RM6 million. The project, which was overseen by the Labuan Public Works Department (PWD), was officially handed over to the Ministry of Education (MoE) representative Wan Mohd Rahim Yusof in a ceremony at the college today. Labuan PWD director Ir Mohd Faizul Mohd Ali Hanapiah said the project, which commenced in July 2023, was completed on June 19, 2024. 'It is expected to significantly improve the learning and teaching environment at the college, offering students and staff a more comfortable and conducive setting for their educational pursuits,' he said. He further emphasised the importance of the partnership between PWD and the Ministry of Education in enhancing educational facilities.
