SEOUL, South Korea's foreign ministry on Monday offered condolences for the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny and called for a thorough investigation into the case. "We mourn the death of Navalny who fought for the democracy of Russia," an official at the ministry said, urging a "thorough and transparent" probe into his sudden death. Navalny, one of President Vladimir Putin's biggest foes, is said to have died Friday in an Arctic prison colony. Source: Yonhap News Agency
