Samsung Card Co. on Friday reported its second-quarter net profit of 184.9 billion won (US$133.5 million), up 27.4 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating income for the April-June period rose 29.1 percent on-year to 248.6 billion won. Revenue increased 11.2 percent to 1.08 trillion won.
