Samsung Electronics 2023 net income down 72.2 pct to 15.48 tln won

SEOUL, Samsung Electronics Co. on Wednesday reported its 2023 net profit of 15.48 trillion won (US$11.6 billion), down 72.2 percent from a year earlier. Operating profit for the year was 6.56 trillion won, down 84.9 percent from the previous year, the company said in a regulatory filing. Annual revenue fell 14.3 percent to 258.93 trillion won.
