SEOUL, Samsung Engineering Co. on Tuesday reported its fourth-quarter net profit of 112.4 billion won (US$84.6 million), down 37.5 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 269.9 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 214.5 billion won a year ago. Revenue fell 3.8 percent to 2.82 trillion won. The earnings failed to meet market expectations.
