Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance Co. on Thursday reported its 2023 net profit of 1.82 trillion won (US$1.4 billion), up 12 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 2.35 trillion won in operating profit for the year, compared with 2.04 trillion from the previous year.
