Samsung SDS Q2 net profit up 11.8 pct to 190.5 bln won

Samsung SDS Co. on Thursday reported its second-quarter net profit of 190.5 billion won (US$137.5 million), up 11.8 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 220.9 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 206.4 billion won a year ago. Sales rose 2.4 percent to 3.36 trillion won. The earnings met market expectations.
