Meanwhile, in the women's doubles final, Johor's Dania Sofea Zaidi-Low Zi Yu bounced back from a game down to beat Perak's Chong Jie Yu-Vannee Gobi Yap 19-21, 21-19, 21-12 for the gold medal. Kedah twins Cheng Su Hui-Cheng Su Yin took bronze after defeating FT's Amanda Yap Hwa Leng-Ong Xie Yee 21-13, 21-17. Melaka's Aaron Tai Wei Qin-Noraqilah Maisarah Ramdan were in their element as they carved out a 21 -17, 21-16 win over Penang's Tan Wei Liang-Khor Jing Wen to bag the mixed doubles gold.
