Cambodian Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has reminded people not cross the red line, i.e. not to violate the rule of law and neglect the legitimacy of the Royal Government. According to his voice message released on social media this afternoon, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said there were some calls from abroad to topple the legitimate Royal Government by illegal action. The former Cambodian Prime Minister also rejected the idea of comparing Cambodia with Bangladesh. 'Don't misunderstand between the situation in Bangladesh and that in Cambodia. Please have a deeper and more careful thought. This cannot happen in Cambodia,' he said. Samdech Techo Hun Sen re-appealed to the public to consider carefully before taking any acts against the Royal Government. 'There is a red line here. The constitution states clearly about the freedom of expression […], so please look deeper between the real situation and what they (extremists based abroad) said about Cambodia,' he underlined.
