The First Vice President of the Cambodian Senate has received visiting Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. State Department, H.E. Salman Ahmed, for a cooperation discussion. The Senate's First Vice President, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, met with H.E. Salman Ahmed at the senate office on July 25. The director of policy planning at the U.S. State Department commented on Cambodia's contribution to the deployment of peacekeepers under the United Nations' mission. He spoke highly of the good cooperation between Cambodia and the U.S., particularly in demining activities worth about US$190 million since 1993. H.E. Prak Sokhonn warmly welcomed H.E. Salman Ahmed and thanked the U.S. for its support for Cambodia.
