SEOUL, Actor Seo Kang-joon has been cast in a new MBC drama as a National Intelligence Service agent, the TV network said Monday. The upcoming Fri-Sat series, with the working title "Undercover High School," centers around Seo's character, an agent who conceals his true identity by going undercover as a high school student to track down a lost gold bar belonging to Emperor Gojong. The comedy-action marks Seo's first project since completing his mandatory military service in May last year. His last TV series was Disney+'s "Grid" in 2022.
