SEOUL, SK Chemicals Co. on Wednesday reported its first-quarter net loss of 8.4 billion won (US$6.2 million), turning from a profit of 11.4 billion won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted an operating loss of 12.7 billion won for the January-March period, compared with a profit of 8.6 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 4.5 percent to 381 billion won.
