SK hynix Inc. on Thursday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 1.37 trillion won (US$1 billion), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. Operating profit for the October-December period was 346 billion, compared with a loss of 1.91 trillion won a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 47.4 percent to 11.3 trillion won. The loss was 634.3 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
