Three Malaysian Firms Express Interest in Investing in Cambodia

Kuala Lumpur: Three Malaysian-based companies-Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad, Aurelius Healthcare, and MMAG Holdings Berhad-are set to explore investment opportunities and expand their operations in Cambodia, focusing on healthcare, digital, and logistics sectors.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, executives from the three firms met with Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, during separate courtesy calls in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They briefed the Prime Minister on their business activities and expressed interest in Cambodia's investment climate.

The executives included Mr. Dato' Sri Dr. Shamir Kumar Nandy of Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad, Mr. Dato' Amir Firdaus Abdullah of Aurelius Healthcare, and Mr. Datuk Hanifah Noordin of MMAG Holdings Berhad and NexG Berhad.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed their interest, outlining the Royal Government's policies and incentives for investors. He highlighted Cambodia's investment law, which fosters a favorable business environment, and encouraged collaboration with relevant ministries to explore specific investment opportunities.

Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad, part of the Bin Zayed International Group, expanded into Cambodia in 2025, establishing a subsidiary in the financial sector. Aurelius Healthcare, founded in 2019, partners with hospitals across Indochina, including two in Cambodia. MMAG Holdings Berhad, established in 2003, offers logistics and technology services.
