KUALA LUMPUR, The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds across Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Kelantan until 1 am on Wednesday. The same warning also applies to Perak, covering the areas of Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Manjung, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar and Batang Padang. Thunderstorms are also expected to hit Terengganu, including the areas of Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Marang and Dungun, as well as Pahang (Cameron Highlands and Lipis). Similar conditions are forecast for Sarawak, affecting Sri Aman (Sri Aman), Sarikei (Sarikei and Meradong), Sibu, Mukah (Tanjung Manis and Daro), and Kapit (Song and Kapit), while in Sabah, the affected areas include Nabawan and Sandakan (Tongod, Telupid and Sandakan).
