SHAH ALAM, Some areas in the Sabak Bernam district and Felda Gedangsa, Hulu Selangor will experience unscheduled water supply disruptions due to the shutdown of the Sungai Bernam Water Treatment Plant (LRA). Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) chief executive officer Adam Saffian Ghazali, said the disruption is caused by high turbidity of raw water due to a water surge at Sungai Bernam earlier today. "Tankers will be deployed to provide alternative water supply, with priority given to critical facilities," he said in a statement today.
