Phnom Penh: In preparation for World Environment Day on June 5, WWF-Cambodia collaborated with the non-governmental organisation Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE) to organise a knowledge-sharing session on environment and conservation for approximately 140 students.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the session featured interactive Q and A discussions and dialogues. WWF observed that participants demonstrated a strong grasp of the importance of wildlife protection, forest conservation efforts, and sustainable living practices.
Attendees actively shared personal insights and positive experiences during the event, reflecting on how their daily lifestyle choices impact the planet. As a key outcome, the students signed pledges committing to change negative daily habits and vowed to share the knowledge gained with their families and communities.
