President Yoon Suk Yeol called on the nation Thursday to take part in early voting for next week's parliamentary elections, his spokesperson said. Early voting for the April 10 general elections will take place at designated polling stations across the country Friday and Saturday. Up for grabs are all 300 seats in the National Assembly. "Voting is not only a sovereign's exercise of their rights but also their duty," Yoon was quoted as saying by presidential spokesperson Kim Soo-kyung. "I ask everyone without exception to exercise their sovereign power." Source: Yonhap News Agency
