President Yoon Suk Yeol's approval rating rebounded after six weeks to 37.3 percent, a poll showed Monday, amid core supporters rallying behind Yoon ahead of the general elections. The latest rating is a 1 percentage-point increase compared to a week ago, while negative assessment of Yoon's performance declined 1.2 percentage points to 59.5 percent, according to the poll conducted by Realmeter and commissioned by the Energy Economy News Daily. The slight rise is attributed to strengthening unity among supporters of Yoon and other factors stemming from the general elections, such as early voting, the pollster explained. The survey was conducted from Monday to Friday and has a confidence level of 95 percent with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.1 percentage points. Source: Yonhap News Agency
