Applications Open for ‘Cambodia Digital Awards 2025’

Phnom Penh: Online applications for the 'Cambodia Digital Awards 2025' are now open from June 9 to August 9, 2025, through the official website: https://mptc.gov.kh/cda25/. The announcement was made during a press conference held in Phnom Penh yesterday afternoon, in the presence of H.E. Sam Sethserey, Director General of the General Department of Information and Communication Technology at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC).

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the objective of the 'Cambodia Digital Awards 2025' is to promote and support digital business innovation and digital transformation in Cambodia with an inclusiveness mindset by encouraging the use of ICT and digital innovations in Cambodia through awards granted to institutions and entrepreneurs. The awards are organized under the theme 'Local Innovation, Global Competition,' and represent the largest national digital competition in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Since 2015, the awards have been organized by the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT), formerly known as the National Institute of Posts, Telecoms, and ICT (NIPTICT), with the support of the MPTC.

The awards focus on several key areas including recognition, empowerment, connection, and opportunity. Recognition celebrates digital experts' achievements, empowerment encourages digital technology adoption, connection fosters collaboration among innovators, and opportunity provides a platform for showcasing digital achievements and attracting investments. The Cambodia Digital Awards 2025 will offer a total prize of US$ 30,000 distributed across five award categories: Private Sector of the Year, Best Digital Inclusion of the Year, Best Digital Content of the Year, Minister Startup of the Year, and Best Digital Research and Innovation of the Year.
