Preah Vihear: H.E. Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Women's Affairs, led a delegation today to Preah Vihear province, providing care packages and support to frontline armed forces stationed along the Cambodia-Thailand border. The delegation included senior officials from the Ministry of Women's Affairs, along with representatives from the Cambodian Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Women Entrepreneurs Network of Cambodia, and members of the private sector.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the border forces in Preah Vihear operate under the command of Kittisangahapundit General Hing Bun Heang, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of the Bodyguard Command. During her visit, Minister Ing Kantha Phavi conveyed the profound appreciation and strong support from Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
She reiterated the royal government's steadfast commitment to defending the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity. This commitment has received full endorsement from both the National Assembly and Senate, particularly regarding Cambodia's legal complaint to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) concerning the border dispute with Thailand.
The minister distributed essential supplies and consumables to all armed forces personnel at the border, including military, police, and Royal Gendarmerie.
