Battambang Authorities Support Troops at Cambodia-Thailand Border

Battambang: In a show of continued support, Governor Sok Lou of Battambang province, along with Provincial Council President Uy Ry, led a delegation on Sept. 3, 2025, to visit and extend greetings to armed forces stationed along the Cambodia-Thailand border. The visit also included the distribution of donations from philanthropists, coordinated through the provincial administration.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Sok Lou highlighted the Royal Government's commitment to fully supporting the national armed forces under the leadership of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet. He stressed that the donations from citizens and organizations demonstrate patriotic solidarity and provide essential backing for the troops.

The governor expressed gratitude to all donors who have contributed not only to support returning Cambodian migrant workers but also to aid the frontline forces. He described these contributions as crucial to boosting the morale of the soldiers defending the nation.

H.E. Sok Lou reaffirmed the provincial administration's commitment to continuing its efforts to mobilize donations to meet the needs of the frontline troops. He added that relevant departments and local authorities will continue to provide special attention and assistance to the families of these soldiers.

The governor concluded by expressing sincere appreciation to all armed forces personnel for their sacrifice, courage, and determination in protecting Cambodia's territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
