Battambang Provincial Leaders Deliver Donations to Border Forces

Battambang: H.E. Uy Ry, President of Battambang Provincial Council, and Provincial Governor H.E. Sok Lou led a delegation to the Cambodia-Thailand border on August 19 to meet with and support troops stationed in the region. The visit aimed to bolster the morale and resources of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) members who are safeguarding the nation's territorial integrity.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the delegation presented donations collected from philanthropists through the provincial administration. These contributions included financial assistance, foodstuffs, and essential supplies, benefiting both the troops and returning Cambodian migrant workers. H.E. Sok Lou highlighted that the donations are a testament to national solidarity and patriotism, showcasing the public's commitment to supporting frontline defenders.

H.E. Sok Lou expressed the provincial administration's gratitude to the philanthropists, emphasizing that the support not only provides vital material aid but also significant moral encouragement to the troops. He noted the contributions as a reflection of the collective effort from the "rear battlefield" to ensure the well-being of those on the front lines.

During the event, H.E. Sok Lou reiterated that under the leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, the Royal Government is committed to fully supporting and equipping the armed forces. This commitment ensures that no soldier faces shortages while defending the Kingdom.
