Phnom Penh: Cambodia and China have vowed to boost partnership to share experience and capacity building in fighting corruption. The pledge was made in a meeting between H.E. Yonn Sinat, Vice-President of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) of Cambodia, and a visiting senior Chinese delegation led by H.E. Lei Gang, a standing committee member of the Communist Party of China's Yunnan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Yunnan Provincial Supervisory Commission.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during the meeting, H.E. Chea Sam Ath, ACU Director General of the General Department of Operations, underlined that anti-corruption stands as a key priority of the Royal Government of Cambodia. H.E. Lei Gang appreciated the growing friendship and cooperation between China and Cambodia, including the anti-cooperation area.
The two sides looked forward to further fostering bilateral cooperation to address corruption of all forms.
