Phnom Penh: Cambodia and China have committed to enhancing their partnership to exchange experiences and build capacity in the fight against corruption. This commitment was articulated during a meeting between H.E. Yonn Sinat, Vice-President of Cambodia's Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU), and a senior Chinese delegation led by H.E. Lei Gang. Lei Gang is a standing committee member of the Communist Party of China's Yunnan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Yunnan Provincial Supervisory Commission.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting, which took place in Phnom Penh, highlighted anti-corruption as a key priority for the Royal Government of Cambodia. H.E. Chea Sam Ath, Director General of the General Department of Operations at the ACU, emphasized this focus during the discussions.
H.E. Lei Gang expressed his appreciation for the growing friendship and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the anti-corruption arena. Both parties are optimistic about further strengthening their bilateral cooperation to effectively address all forms of corruption.
