Phnom penh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia (MFAIC) this evening made public a statement, welcoming the Peace Agreement in Gaza and reaffirming its support for the two-state solution.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the statement highlighted Cambodia's acknowledgment of the Peace Agreement in Gaza, which was signed on 13 October 2025 in Egypt. The agreement saw the participation of leaders including President Donald J. Trump of the United States, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of Qatar, and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Trkiye.
The MFAIC expressed commendation for the leadership of U.S. President Donald Trump and other mediators, appreciating their efforts in achieving this outcome. The ministry emphasized its hope that the Peace Agreement will pave the way for lasting peace and a return to normalcy for both sides of the conflict.
In its statement, the MFAIC also reiterated Cambodia's support for the two-state solution, urging all involved parties to continue dialogue in accordance with relevant UN resolutions and international law.
