Sihanoukville: The U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh will hold the 'Embassy Week' 2025 in Sihanoukville of Preah Sihanouk province to celebrate the 75 years of partnership and friendship with Cambodia. To be organised from Aug. 26 to 30, the 'Embassy Week' brings the U.S. Embassy to Preah Sihanouk province for meaningful engagements that honor both countries' shared values and vision for the future.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, one of the special events of the 'Embassy Week' is the screening of 'Loot' Documentary Film at Suvarnabhumi School on Aug. 29. 'This powerful film underscores the importance of cultural preservation - a mission the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh proudly supports,' it said. 'Through partnerships with Cambodian authorities, we've helped repatriate stolen artifacts, ensuring Cambodia's rich heritage is restored to its rightful place. Together, we stand against the exploitation of cultural treasures.'
From advancing economic opportunities and enhancing health and security to preserving cultural heritage and empowering Cambodia's youth, 'Embassy Week' highlights the enduring friendship between the two nations.
