Phnom Penh: India has pledged more support for training in data analysis and utilisation and digital and vocational skills to Cambodia's Ministry of Planning. The commitment was conveyed by H.E. Vanlavawna Bawitlung, Indian Ambassador to Cambodia, during a meeting with H.E. Bin Troachhey, Minister of Planning, in Phnom Penh on Wednesday.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, India will also assist the National Institute of Statistics in modernising census and survey work through digitalisation. This initiative is part of India's ongoing efforts to strengthen its diplomatic and cooperative ties with Cambodia.
H.E. Bin Trachhey expressed gratitude to the Indian Ambassador and praised the enduring relationship and productive cooperation between Cambodia and India. He particularly highlighted India's capacity-building support for his ministry, which has been a significant aspect of the bilateral partnership.
