Phnom penh: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn represented the Royal Government of Cambodia at the French National Day 2025 celebration hosted by the French Embassy in Cambodia on July 14 evening. The event took place at the embassy premises in Phnom Penh and was organized by H.E. Jacques Pellet, Ambassador of France to Cambodia.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Ambassador Pellet expressed his gratitude to the Royal Government of Cambodia for its ongoing warm friendship and partnership with France. During the event, he announced the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Cambodia and bid farewell to senior royal government officials, development partners, and various institutions who collaborated with the French Embassy during his tenure.
Ambassador Pellet highlighted that France's National Day in 2025 provided an opportunity to reflect on significant achievements and events from the past year. These included the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Francophonie Summit, the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence, and the upcoming UN Ocean Conference (UNOC2025).
