Phnom penh: Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has appealed to Cambodian citizens not to discriminate against Thai nationals living in Cambodia, despite the ongoing armed clashes along the Cambodia-Thailand border.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Premier emphasized the importance of maintaining morality and dignity in a message posted on his official social media platform. He urged Cambodians to avoid discrimination or any actions that could negatively impact the Royal Thai Embassy in Cambodia, as well as Thai companies and citizens residing in the country.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister addressed Cambodian citizens living, working, or studying in Thailand, advising them to return home if they feel unsafe due to discrimination or pressure. He encouraged those in need of assistance to reach out to the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Bangkok or the Consulate-General of Cambodia in Sa Kaeo Province, Thailand.
